The Learning Edventure In-person Classes

WHO WE ARE:
The Learning Edventure provides educational support for families involved in home, private, and/or public-school education. The Learning Edventure is not a school rather an enrichment program that offers workshops, courses, and classes for students, parents, and families taught by world class educators. Our courses and workshops cover core subject matter and offer enrichment options for Science, History, and Social Emotional Learning. All teachers work to connect their lessons to the real world, offering diversity within modalities. In addition all teachers work to help students’ reach their goals and discover their passions and potential by using a Socratic approach.

HOW IT WORKS:
Classes meet 1-2 days a week in person. Each teacher will provide optional at home extension activities for students who are enrolled in their class(es). All Teachers, Parents, and Students sign a Learning Edventure contract before their Edventure begins. This contract includes promises made to one another and everyone is required to uphold their commitment to the contract in order to continue with The Learning Edventure.

SERVICES WE PROVIDE:
> Enrichment classes and workshops for TK through 5th  grade students. (We are looking to expand to grades 6-12 asap!)
> Professional Development for parents and/or looking to grow their skills.

Workshops, book chats, and support groups for parents, teachers, and family members that will teach a variety of topics including:
> Choosing the right path for your learner!
> How to school at home
> The 5 hour school week
> How to develop Social Emotional Skills in your student
> Life Skills – Teaching age-appropriate chores
> Raising self starters
