Help your students practice reading and hearing long vowel sounds with this Match the Stack Long Vowel Activity. Engage students by building towers that match the card. Students will use the word card to practice reading long vowel words, while matching them to the picture on the block. Have students read the word aloud to add a great multi-sensory option and auditory discrimination element to this activity. Perfect for morning work, literacy centers, small group instruction and intervention.
This file includes both color and black & white picture cards so you can choose which option fits your needs the best. Just print out the picture cards and add them to any blocks you already have. Don’t have blocks – no worries! Add to anything that can stack!
